Quirke Design is a bespoke kitchens and interiors showroom and workshop based in Westport, Co. Mayo, serving clients throughout Ireland. We specialise in creating timeless interiors that combine elegant design, practical living, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Founded by Donal Quirke, Director of Design & Manufacturing and master craftsman with over 20 years of experience, the studio is built on a passion for detail and a commitment to quality. Each project is brought to life by our skilled team of cabinetmakers, blending traditional techniques with contemporary design.

While we are best known for our bespoke kitchens, our work extends throughout the home. We design and craft boot rooms, pantries, wine rooms, libraries, and bespoke furniture for bedrooms, dressing rooms, media walls, and bathrooms.

At Quirke Design, no two projects are the same. Every piece is thoughtfully designed and carefully crafted to create spaces of lasting beauty and character.

Director of Design & Manufacturing

With over 20 years of experience in high-end cabinetry and bespoke joinery, Donal Quirke brings exceptional craftsmanship and expertise to every project at Quirke Design. Known for his precision, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to quality, Donal has built a reputation for creating cabinetry that balances functionality with refined design.

Throughout his career, he has worked on a wide range of residential and commercial projects, from bespoke kitchens and integrated storage solutions to intricate one-of-a-kind furniture pieces. His hands-on approach and deep understanding of traditional woodworking techniques, combined with modern design tools, guide the studio’s work from concept through to completion.

As Director of Design & Manufacturing, Donal oversees both the creative and production processes, ensuring every piece crafted by Quirke Design meets the studio’s exacting standards of quality, craftsmanship, and integrity.

Sarah Quirke

Finance & Operations Director

With over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting, Sarah brings a wealth of expertise to Quirke Design. She began her career in the pharmaceutical sector, working as a General Ledger Accountant for a global company where she supported complex financial operations at an international scale.

Since joining Quirke Design in 2023, Sarah has taken on a dual role, managing both the finance and operations sides of the business. Her strategic insight, attention to detail, and hands-on leadership help ensure that everything runs smoothly—behind the scenes and beyond.
